Every successful business is built on the dedication of its people, and September marked both the end of an incredible chapter and the beginning of an exciting new one.

After more than 20 years of loyal service to Okuma New Zealand, Terry Barber has officially retired from the company. Terry has been a trusted team member, a source of knowledge and support, and a familiar face to many of our customers, colleagues and industry partners.

While we will certainly miss Terry’s experience, guidance and sense of humour, we are grateful for the significant contribution he has made throughout his career. On behalf of everyone at the company, we thank Terry for his dedication and wish him a happy, healthy and fulfilling retirement.

At the same time, we are delighted to welcome Orhan Ozturk to the New Zealand team.

Orhan Ozturk brings extensive experience in administration and customer service, with a strong background in supporting customers, streamlining processes and building positive relationships. His professional experience and customer-first mindset make him a valuable addition to our team.

As we look to the future, Orhan will play an important role in supporting several exciting initiatives aimed at improving customer experience, enhancing internal processes and continuing to strengthen the service and support our customers have come to expect.

We are excited about the fresh perspective and expertise Orhan brings and look forward to the positive impact he will make as part of the New Zealand team.
