Award-winning product
UNIVERSAL CENTER MU-10000H 5-axis horizontal machining center

The MU-10000H is the best 5-axis horizontal machining center for machining large, complex-shaped parts.
In receiving the award it was praised for an “environmentally-friendly external design” that provides a comfortable working space, “precision-oriented functional design” that enables machining accuracies on 5 axes that are equivalent to machines of a rank above, and an ergonomically innovative “user interface design” for machining on 5 axes.

The major feature of the MU-10000H is a trunnion table that gives a large working range of up to φ1500 × 1,125 mm and high-speed, high-accuracy machining.
A double motor that is highly responsive and gives rapid movement is used on the A and B axes, producing swivel speeds of 12 min-1 on the A axis and 20 min-1 on the B axis.
With Okuma’s own high-accuracy rotary encoder that directly links the table and trunnion, high-accuracy indexing is done rapidly and precise positioning is achieved for both high-speed movement and high-accuracy machining.
