Following a successful motorsport engineering career spanning 25 years, Chief Executive Officer and Company Founder of Supashock, Oscar Fiorinotto, has developed products and technologies that have successfully served and progressed the automotive industry and global motorsport racing teams alike in these specialised fields.

Today Supashock holds an enviable international position as a specialist in mobility, motion, vibration and logistics control systems servicing diverse markets such as defence, automotive, aeronautics, mining and a broad range of commercial applications.

Supashock has two manufacturing sites in South Australia plus a sales office in the USA.  Within South Australia the company employs more than 125 staff overall including 60 engineers. As well as servicing the domestic market, the majority of its sales are now going to export markets in the USA, Europe and South East Asia with an ever expanding range of new products and new markets being developed.

“Within our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities the company has eight advanced technology Okuma machines. These machines have a worldwide reputation for holding tight tolerances, agility and repeatability due to the rigidity and construction of the machines,” said Mr Fiorinotto. ”This enables us to produce large scale military parts of critical dimensions consistently which is particularly important with the high tensile strength steels and materials we operate with,” he said.

Supashock has implemented Okuma Connect into its digitised manufacturing lines and is working towards Manufacturing 4.0.
