Okuma Australia recently hosted a 2-day Training Seminar in Hobart to support our many customers in Tasmania.

This training session assisted the machine operators and others to understand the many features of the Okuma machines to improve their own throughputs and efficiencies.

“Okuma are always striving to enhance the training we provide to our customers Australia-wide and New Zealand.  We are achieving this with recently introduced “free” customer Lunch & Learn sessions, customer seminars such as these and also continually training our own engineers with the latest information”, commented Dean McCarroll, Managing Director, Okuma Australia + New Zealand.

This seminar was lead by Mark Richards, Branch Manager, Vic & Tas and Noel White, Senior Application Engineer, Vic.  It was also strongly supported by Sandvik, Okuma’s PIPE Partner.

“The team thought the two days training provided a fantastic opportunity to explore the depths of controller functionality, problem solve operator issues, learn best practise techniques, improve productivity, consumable life and, generally absorb as much knowledge as possible.
